Why do I pay a monthly company payment as well as a driver payment?
Other agencies charge a large once off placement fee in order to place a driver/au pair; Soccermom has split up this payment into a monthly placement fee to minimize the client's risk. We do not take a percentage of the driver's pay, therefore the monthly placement fee is charged.

Why do I pay a registration fee?
Recruiting a driver involves advertising, background checking, interviewing and police clearance of the candidate, hence we only start the recruitment process as soon as your registration fee is received to ensure a commitment to our service.

What happens if there are school holidays or I am on leave?
The driver is on a pay-as-you-drive agreement and the payment will be calculated accordingly for that month. The monthly placement fee however is due in full every month, as this charge is the agencies placement fee divided into monthly instalments.

What happens if I am unhappy with my driver?
Soccermom will try to replace your driver ASAP should you be unhappy with your driver or if the driver discontinues their service. One month's notice is to be given to Soccermom should this be the case. NO replacement fee or new once off payment is charged in order to get a replacement, you just continue paying your monthly instalments.

TEMPORARY SERVICE

How does a temporary placement differ from the permanent placement?
Permanent placements are for requirements of a minimum period of 3 months. If you only need a driver on occasion e.g. when you travel, go on business trips or during the exam period, then we recommend the placement of a temporary driver.

How do I book a temporary driver?
A minimum of 3 – 5 working days notice is required and Soccermom will then find someone who can assist you for the temporary period. The candidate will come and meet with you and your children and a temporary service agreement will be signed.
