The Soccermom Certification Process
Before she's allowed to accept any rides, all Soccermom Drivers must pass the certification process with a 10/10 score
Worked with kids before, and can provide at least one reference of their previous childcare experience, which we contact to confirm.
Has minimum 2 years driving experience, and is in possession of a valid Professional Drivers Permit
Is at least 21 years of age
No criminal record, as confirmed by a SAPS Police Clearance Certificate and a background check.
Has a safe car, not older than 10 years. Vehicle registration documents and photos of the car are kept on record.
Can show proof of vehicle insurance for the registered car with third-party and passenger liability cover for at least R500 000
Passes a custom Soccermom car inspection with DEKRA, certificates of the inspection are kept on record.
Had an in-person interview with the Soccermom team and we're comfortable to place them with our own families
Attended the in-person Soccermom training, where all the documents provided were verified to confirm validity.
Agrees to Soccermom's zero tolerance policy for using mobile devices while driving
Once in service, we provide ongoing training to all our drivers
Hijack awareness and response training
Basic family first-aid training
Advanced driving course
Performance review every six months
Vehicle inspection every 24 months
